Ehave and MyLifeID Enter a Joint Working Agreement to Allow Patients to Download Their Electronic Health Records

The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services says both health and mental health information should be appropriately documented and shared for proper continuity of care for the patient.

Miami, Florida – April 7, 2020 – Ehave, Inc., (OTC Pink: EHVVF) (the “Company”), a provider of digital therapeutics delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients and services to the psychedelic medicine industry, announced today it has entered into a Multi-Tier Global Partnership with MyLifeID that will allow individuals to carry their health and mental health records with them at all times.

This partnership allows individuals to store their health and mental health history on the MyLifeID Pocket Cloud™, which will be able to be accessed by medical providers through Ehave’s dashboard. Once integration is complete, we will update shareholders. The data is stored on the MyLifeID Pocket Cloud in full compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and comes on the heels of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services finalizing two transformative rules on March 9, 2020 giving patients unprecedented safe, secure access to their health and mental health data. The two rules implement interoperability and patient access provisions of the bipartisan 21st Century Cures Act and support President Trump’s MyHealthEData initiative.

Officials said the rules will give patients a greater say in health care decisions and put an end to a long-standing practice in which some doctors and hospitals resist handing complete medical files over to patients upon demand. “The days of patients being kept in the dark are over. In today’s digital age, our health system’s data-sharing capacity shouldn’t be mired in the Stone Age,” said Seema Verma, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and appointee to President Donald Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force, which is headed by Vice President Mike Pence.

“Patients should have control of their records, period. Now that’s becoming a reality,” said United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar. “These rules are the start of a new chapter in how patients experience American health care.”

Benjamin Kaplan, Chief Executive Officer of Ehave, Inc., said, “We agree that medical information belongs to the patient and not an electronic health record (EHR) company. Mr. Kaplan continued, “This partnership between Ehave and MyLifeID is one of the first of its kind to move toward allowing patients to download their electronic health records and medical data.”

MyLifeID is the creator of the Pocket Cloud 2.0, a 32GB credit card-sized USB storage drive designed to hold a person’s critical data, general health and medical information, as well as their complete medical history including mental health information, X-rays, emergency contact lists, prescription drug information, and immunization history.

“We believe it’s important that people have their medical records available at all times, especially when traveling,” said Jeffrey W. Cohen, Chief Executive Officer of MyLifeID, Inc. “By partnering with Ehave, MyLifeID helps ensure doctors have access to critical data for a more comprehensive understanding of the patient. This leads to a more accurate diagnosis and treatment.”

According to the U. S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Tourism Organization, there were 1.33 billion worldwide international tourist arrivals in 2017, an increase of 88% from 2015. The CDC says the importance of protecting the health of individual travelers, as well as safeguarding the health of the communities to which they return cannot be overstated.
